Leading Lloyd’s Underwriting Group are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Underwriting Management support team. This is a highly analytical role and would therefore suit candidates with a mathematical or science related degree.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing administrative and analytical support, including: Group and Product specific support; collection and provision of analytical information/analysis regarding underwriting activity and performance; The management of data/information flow across Group Underwriting and other functions; Ad-hoc project work/presentations (both internal and external); Specific and ad-hoc technical assistance to guide strategic decision making and tactical project work; Independent evaluation and analysis of existing portfolio; Coordination of and research into new classes of business and new business opportunities; Market research and analysis. Experience gained within underwriting or underwriting support, business / data analysis or operations would be considered.
